A. G. Milkha Singh was an Indian cricketer who represented the Indian national side in Tests. He was a left-handed batsman and an occasional right-arm medium pace bowler who played in 4 Tests for India. He was born in 1941 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His father A. G. Ram Singh was also a cricketer and his brother A. G. Kripal Singh played Test cricket for India. He made his debut against Australia in 1959-60, represented the country on the tour to Pakistan in 1960-61 and played against England in one Test in 1961-62. He represented Tamil Nadu in Ranji trophy scoring over 2000 runs. He was the first player to score a hundred in Duleep trophy. He passed away in 2017 at the age of 75 years.
