Nasir Hossain is a all-rounder of Bangladesh cricket team. He is a right handed batsman, right armed off-break bowler and field well in most of the matches. Now, he is a vital component of Bangladesh cricket team. Nasir Hossan was born in 30 November, 1991 in Rangpur district in a lower middle class family. His full name is Mohammad Nasir Hossain and nick name is Nasir. He was the student of Rangpur Zilla School and Bangladesh Krira Sikkha Protisthan (BKSP). There he learned cricket basics. Nasir is a big fan of Pakistani great Mohammad Usuf and hope to emulate his batting style.

At the age of 16, Nasir entered into the Bangladesh Under-19 Squad. He has a reasonable record an all-rounder in the domestic league. For his impressive performance, Nasir Hossain was picked for the One Day international series against Zimbabwe. It was his ODI debut and he shoed a calm head in scoring 63 to win Bangladesh a wobbly 58/6 in 14 August, 2011 at Harare Sports Club. In October 2011, Bangladesh hosted West Indies for a T20I, 2 ODIs and 2 Tests. Nasir made his T20 debut against West Indies at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. He made his Teat debut against West Indies at Chittagong Divisional Stadium in October 21, 2011.
