
Prakash Bhandari was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler who played for the Indian national cricket team in 3 Tests. He was born in 1935 in Delhi. He toured Pakistan in 1954-55 when he was still in his teens and made his debut in the final Test match at Karachi. He scored 19 in that match. He then played against New Zealand at Delhi in 1955-56. Coming in at No. 8 position he scored his highest Test total of 39 and added 73 with Bapu Nadkarni. He then played his last Test match against Australia at Kolkata the following season. He played for Delhi and Bengal in the Ranji trophy competition.
