Bharath Reddy was a right-handed batsman and a wicketkeeper who represented the Indian national cricket team in 4 Tests and 3 ODIs between 1978 and 1981. He was born in 1954 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He represented Tamil Nadu in the Ranji trophy and South Zone in the Duleep trophy and also played for Rest of India in the Irani trophy. He made it to the national side as a first choice Test wicketkeeper on the tour to England in 1979 when Syed Kirmani was dropped.
