Vijay Dahiya

Vijay Dahiya is a former Indian cricketer who played two Tests and 19 ODIs for India. He was a wicketkeeper and a right-handed batsman who played two Tests against Zimbabwe one at Delhi and another at Nagpur in 2000. He played his first ODI in the ICC Knockout Trophy against Kenya at Nairobi in October 2000. That was his first international match. He played his last ODI against Australia at Margao in 2001. He scored his highest ODI total of 131 off 99 balls against Australia at Bengaluru. In the domestic arena, he played first class cricket for Delhi and North Zone. He retired from all forms of the game in 2006. After retirement, he coached the Delhi team and led them to the Ranji title in 2007-08 seasons. He was also the assistant coach of IPL side Kolkata Knight Riders in 2009.
