Gautam Rode is an Indian television and film actor as well as television host. He started his television career with the television show Jahan Pyaar Mile on Zee TV and went on to act in numerous television shows. In 2000, he appeared in episodic roles in Rishtey, Apna Apna Style and Thriller at 10. He played his first lead role in the show Lucky. His other works include Baa Bahu Aur Baby, Saraswatichandra and Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani. He appeared in cameo and supporting role in Mata Ki Chowki, Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora, Crime & Bollywood, Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah and Aahat. He also featured in Mera Naam Karegi Roshan, Parichay  and Teri Meri Love Stories. He earned a lot of appreciation and became popular with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s show Saraswatichandra where he played the title role.

In 2002, he made his Bollywood debut with the film Annarth co-starred Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty and Preeti Jhangiani where he played the role of Inspector Sameer Deshmukh. He appeared in his second film titled U, Bomsi & Me. He also appeared in the film Agyaat in 2009. Apart from television serials and films, he also hosted dance reality shows like Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye 6 alongside Karan Wahi.
